Guidelines:
  1. Length: 3 pages, double-spaced, typed, 12 point font, New Times Roman.
  2. You must have three (3) sources minimum.
  3. Notecards using NoodleTools software must be created.
  4. Paraphrase, don't plagiarize! (PDF)
  5. Documentation style: MLA format using NoodleTools for Works Cited. See this example of how a Works Cited page should look.
  6. Wikipedia cannot count as a source.

Topics:
Art pieces will be assigned from the Kimbell Renaissance Art collection.

Writing the paper:
You will be completing the paper in steps. Each step will have a specific due date and will be assigned a point value. At the end of the research paper process, all points will be added up to comprise the final grade on the research paper.
  • Step 1: Outline
  • Step 2: NoodleTools notecard check
  • Step 3: Introduction with thesis statement written
  • Step 4: Rough draft and notecards
  • Step 5: Conference with Mrs. Burleson about paper
  • Step 6: Works Cited produced with NoodleTools
